Learning Paths

Our pipeline program currently offers training in two paths along your area of speciality.

Frontend Engineering

Increase your skills in numerous design languages and tools that will make you stand out and land your next tech role. Each Frontend Engineering participant is paired with a mentor in the same field who will offer support and guidance on throughout the program.rol

Criteria for Applying

  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience with ReactJS or another JavaScript web framework (Angular, VueJS, Ember, etc).
  • Experience in writing automated tests (eg. Karma, Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, tape, AVA).
  • Experience using Git in a workplace or professional setting.
  • A solid understanding in core browser and web concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs web pages).
  • A good understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, & core JavaScript concepts.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, sufficient to succeed in a remote work environment.
  • Demonstrated the ability to clearly communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organisational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
  • Experience in performance and optimisation problems with a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent problems.
  • A positive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • A minimum of 3 years software engineering experience using NodeJS with PostgreSQL or MongoDB in large production environments
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, sufficient to succeed in a remote work environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL and query optimization techniques and demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent performance problems
  • Understanding of performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
  • Ability to work in a highly agile, intense, iterative software development enviornment.
