About the Role
Mastercard Open Banking Product Operations Europe is seeking a Billing Assurance & Business Intelligence Analyst. As a member of the Operations Support Team, you play a crucial role in helping to grow our business; through Billing Assurance by ensuring we bill our customers accurately; and with Business Intelligence to help drive our teams to make informed business strategies and decisions, identify and resolve issues, be proactive in addressing emerging challenges and identify improvement opportunities.

Main responsibilities:

Billing Assurance
• Customers are setup correctly in our billing system and in our offline processes: You can capture billing setup details and requirements from reviewing contracts, prepare the necessary files, raise service requests to setup customer rates, follow-through until completion and validate the setup is correct.
• Customer usage data is complete, accurate and ready for use in billing: Collate the monthly usage data, prepare usage reports, and ensure the information is correct.
• Our customers are billed accurately: Process routine billing tasks such as billing of monthly service usage, ad-hoc billing requests and customer rates maintenance; ensure completeness and review correctness of invoices of new customers and existing customer that were subject to change requests i.e. rates were updated.
• Work with other teams to resolve issues reported and identified, escalate as necessary; and support new products and market launches on billing requirements.
• Maintain our billing process and procedure documents, the records and the application files used in the Billing Process.

BI Reporting and Analysis
• Our products and services have the required dashboards and reports to enable our functional teams to support our business and our customers: Develop compelling, interactive and insightful dashboards and reports as required by the Business and our customers; working closely with key stakeholders to capture their BI reporting requirements and fulfil the request as per the agreed deliverables and timelines.
• The Business is in receipt of the BI reports regularly: Prepare and distribute the weekly, month-end and quarterly BI Reports in a timely manner.
• Our functional teams are enabled to make informed decisions, to identify improvement opportunities and to address emerging and present challenges: Analyse performance data and trends, draw meaningful insights, present findings to and work with the relevant functional teams particularly on unusual trend patterns observed and missed KPI target.
• Maintain our BI Reporting process and procedure documents, improve our current dashboards and reports, and drive improvement opportunities.

About You
We seek a multi-faceted person with a passion for technology, an understanding of billing, accounting or finance, enjoys working with and analysing diverse data sets, able to draw meaningful insights and correlations, good troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.

It is essential to have the following advanced knowledge and practical experience:
• Microsoft Office Application Suite particularly MS Excel, Power Query, Functions; SQL Scripting
• Business Intelligence Visualisation Applications (PowerBI and Tableau); defining metrics with the use of DAX functions or calculation language; creating and managing tables
• Application of Data analysis techniques

Communicating with our global functional teams and customers is part of your daily work. You should have good verbal and written communication skills (English) with effective presentation skills, and comfortable collaborating in a hybrid working environment.

With your impeccable workload and time management skills, you are comfortable using different applications and systems, can work independently and thrive as part of a team, has self-driven initiative to learn new technologies, and keen eye on improvement opportunities.

Desirable Competencies
• Worked in Payments and/or in a Service Operations role with exposure to Data & Analytics, Accounting & Billing Operations
• Have used Service Request Management Applications i.e. BMC Remedy to log and manage work orders
• Good understanding of and have worked on IT Service Management (ITSM) Service Operations Processes i.e. Request Fulfilment, Incident, Problem, and Change Management
