About the role

You will be joining a multidisciplinary team comprising developers, BA, user researchers and service designers all working to deliver a national service for a central government agency. You’ll be working on an existing microservices-oriented codebase currently in Alpha (this is not a greenfield project).

Your Responsibilities:

● Writing code and unit tests that meet the client’s standard
● Document design decisions and code
● Using your expertise to co-design solutions with technical architects
● Working with senior stakeholders to design solutions that align with client’s security and live-service running policies and expectations
● Contribute to standups, retros, planning and reviews- provide advice and guidance to other team members

Your Desirable Skills:

● Azure
● Cosmos, Blob storage
● Github actions
● OpenFAAS

Day-to-day work will include:

  • writing code and unit tests that meet the client’s standard

  • contribute to scrum ceremonies (standups, retros, planning and reviews)
  • provide advice and guidance to other team members
